Noble Audio Launches Lu Ban Hybrid IEM

Noble Audio Launches Lu Ban: A Precision Hybrid IEM Featuring Wooden Composite and Planar Technology

Noble Audio has officially announced the launch of the Lu Ban, a precision-engineered hybrid in-ear monitor (IEM) that integrates natural materials with advanced magnetic driver innovation. Officially debuting on May 14, 2026, ahead of CanJam Singapore, the Lu Ban represents a bold statement in Noble’s universal lineup, prioritizing a balance between natural tonality and technical accuracy.

Advanced Hybrid Driver Configuration:

The Lu Ban utilizes a sophisticated three-driver architecture designed to deliver authority, speed, and refinement across various sources:

  • 10mm Wooden Composite Dynamic Driver: This driver serves as the sonic foundation, utilizing wood’s natural resonance for deep, textured, and controlled bass.
  • Harmonic Richness: The wooden composite structure allows vocals to carry body and presence while acoustic instruments retain natural decay and weight.
  • Dual Super-Magnetic Planar Drivers: Two newly developed planar drivers support the dynamic driver, utilizing ultra-high magnetic energy neodymium iron boron material.
  • Technical Precision: This advanced magnetic circuit enables faster transient response, improved micro-detail retrieval, and clean high-frequency extension without glare.

Craftsmanship and Material Design:

Inspired by the legendary Chinese craftsman Lu Ban, the physical design reflects a deep respect for materials and structural precision:

  • Cocobolo Wood Shells: Each shell is crafted from Cocobolo wood, selected for its distinctive grain pattern and structural stability, making every pair visually unique.
  • 3D Printed Internal Framework: A high-precision 3D printed resin framework ensures accurate driver placement and consistent acoustic geometry across units.
  • Premium Cable: The IEM is supplied with a 4-strand woven high-purity OCC silver-plated cable featuring a 4.4mm copper gold-plated balanced termination.

Technical Specifications:

  • Driver Configuration : 10mm Wooden Composite Dynamic + Dual Super-Magnetic Planar
