[NEWS] FiiO Introducing the New FH15 Hybrid Driver IEM

FiiO has introduced their latest FH15 Hybrid Driver IEM that features 3x Balanced Armature + 1x Newly developed 10mm Carbon-Based Diaphragm Dynamic Driver, which are located inside a 5 Axis CNC machined aluminum alloy housing with a classical Dragon Scale faceplate design.

Some other remarkable features are the Patented S.TURBO Acoustic Design, FiiO’s all new HS18 Silicone Ear Tips, a 8 strand Silver Plate Monocrystalline Copper cable with Interchangeable Headphone Plugs and a the Notch Filter technology.

10mm Carbon-Based Diaphragm Dynamic Driver:

The FiiO FH15 features a 10mm diameter Carbon-Based Diaphragm Dynamic Driver, which is part of the Hybrid Driver design dedicated for the lows. The Carbon-Based Diaphragm shows a tensile strength that is 9 times stronger than steel and is 1/4 lighter in the same volume than Beryllium.

Notch Filter Design & S.Turbo Acoustic Design:

The new FH15 has a customized notch filter setup in order to create a frequency response curve between 1kHz & 4kHz for an improved and denser-sounding midrange response that should create a more realistic vocal and instrument presentation.

Another highlight of FH Series IEM of the company is the patented S.Turbo acoustic design, which has also been applied to the FH15. This acoustic design helps to filter the higher frequencies produced by the new 10mm Carbon-Based Diaphragm Dynamic Driver. A low-pass filter reduces the frequency response overlaps between the Dynamic Driver dedicated for the Lows and the Balanced Armature Driver for the Midrange.

Interchangeable Sound Tuning Filters:

All FH Series In-Ear Monitor sis came with an Interchangeable Sound Tuning design and the new FH15 is not an exception. The FH15 will come with Filters, the RED one is the bass enhance filter, the BLACK filter is the one with a more Balanced sound profile, while the GREEN one is more focused to the Highs.

Detachable MMCX Cable with Interchangeable audio plug design:

The new FH15 comes with an 8 strand High Purity Silver Plated Monocrystalline Copper wire cable that has 19 wires per stand, which makes 152 wires in total. Another remarkable feature of the cable is FiiO’s Twist-Lock Interchangeable audio plug design that we have seen with the FH7S before. The Standard package of the FH15 will include 1x 4.4mm TRRRS Balanced and 1x 3.5mm Single Ended TRS plug.

HS18 Silicone Ear Tips:

Inside the box of the FH7S are FiiO’s all-new HS18 silicone ear tips that are debuted for the first time. The ear tips are made from skin-friendly silicone material that offers extra durability and features merely 0.4mm thickness at the surface that touches the ears, allowing for better comfort and seal.
