[NEWS] Kinera introduces the IDUN Golden aka IDUN 2.0 Hybrid Driver IEM

Kinera Electronic Co. Ltd. is a well-known Chinese HiFi Brand that is specialized in the production, design and development of portable audio equipment’s such like “In-Ear Monitors and TWS Earbuds”. The company is also known for its attention to the design of their products and the packaging.

Kinera has now introduced the IDUN 2.0 aka IDUN Golden, which is an updated version of the original IDUN that was released in 2018. It features a triple hybrid driver configuration and comes with a beautiful hand painted monitor shell and a cable with a modular headphone plug adaptor system.

The faceplate features the illustration of the “Tree of Life”, which is IDUN’s Blessing, a part of the Norse Mythology.

1DD + 2BA Triple Driver Hybrid Configuration: 

Kinera IDUN 2.0 aka Kinera Golden features a triple hybrid driver configuration, which is a combination of 2x Balanced Armatures + 1x Custom Dynamic Driver with a 7mm diameter Titanium-Plated PU dome composite diaphragm. The Balanced armature drivers are a combination of 1x Knowles RAF-32873 and 1x Kinera Custom BTC-30095 driver.

Three-Way Frequency Crossover with Dual Acoustic Tube Cavity Structure:

For producing crisp high-resolution sound with low distortion, Kinera has arranged the drivers in a three-way frequency crossover with a dual acoustic tube design. The 7mm dynamic driver is tuned for a powerful lower end, the Knowles RAF-32873 BA driver produces rich midrange, and the custom BTC-30095 BA driver delivers a smooth yet energetic high-frequency response with the pair.

Esthetic Hand-Painted Monitor Shell Design:

Kinera IDUN 2.0 Golden features an impressive looks hand-painted shell design. The faceplate features the illustration of the “Tree of Life”, which is IDUN’s Blessing, a part of the Norse Mythology. The shells are crafted using high-precision 3D printing technology for a well-finished product.

Cable with Interchangeable Plug design: 

Kinera IDUN 2.0 / Kinera IDUN Golden comes with the company’s brand new 8 core hybrid cable, which is made of Oxygen Free Copper + Silver-Plated OFC wire. The cable has 25 strands of 0.05mm Silver-plated OFC wires and 25 strands of 0.06mm OFC wires that are protected with a PVC insulation.

The cable has 0.78mm diameter 2-Pin connectors and comes with Kinera’s latest interchangeable plug design. The package includes one 4.4mm TRRRS Balanced and one 3.5mm TRS Single-Ended plug.
