MITER Leather/Pleather Case Collection 2022

 

 

Introduction:

The company MITER is a Korean company that is well know with its Leather Cases for DAP’s like for those of companies like Sony, Iriver, iBasso FiiO, Chord, Hiby, iFi Audio and many more. MITER is also producing products for Mobile Phones (Apple), eBooks (Sony, Crema, Paper) and Tablets (Samsung).

2022 is a very active year for MITER that has released many premium protective cases including one for the iFi Gryphon, Sony WF1000XM4, Chor Mojo 2, Sony WM1ZM2/WM1AM2 and many more that I will now review for you.

I would like to thank MITER for providing me the iFi Audio Gryphon, Sony WF1000XM4, Chord Mojo 2 and Sony WM1ZM2/WM1AM2 Leather/Pleather cases for review purposes. Sony WF1000XM4 Leather Case:

The MITER Case for the Sony WF1000XM4 is a beautiful looking product that is available Black, Red Navy Blue, Peach Pink, Turkish Blue and Dark Green same like my review unit.

The Black, Red and Navy Blue variants are made from PU Leather material, while the Peach Pink, Turkish Blue and Dark Green models are made from Genuine Plueblo Leather imported from Italy, which is a Vegetable-tanned” product.

The MITER Case of the Sony WF1000XM4 has a two-part design, one for the top lead and one part that are dedicated for main body of the device.

On the front of the case is the MITER branding.

The inner surface of both parts features a Suede lining that protects the Sony WF1000XM4 from scratches.

The product has a very premium look and feel and the overall built quality is decent.

 

 

 

iFi Audio Gryphon Case:

The MITER case for the iFi Audio Gryphon DAC/AMP is available in three (3) different color options, which are Blue, Green and Black like my review sample.

The Green and Blue models are made from Pueblo Leather imported from Italy, while the Black model is made from synthetic PU (Polyurethane) Leather, which is also described as Pleather material.

Pueblo Leather is “Vegetable-tanned” leather with rich vibrant colors. This leather is of the highest quality, not rigid, has elastic filled structure over the entire area.

The inner surface has a nice looking “Suede” surface in brown color that protects the device from scratches.

The MITER Gryphon case has a special Steel Frame that offers extra durability and protections from drops and deformations.

The iFi Audio Gryphon fits perfectly in to the case that shows a great synergy with the MITER case.

The craftsmanship of the case is of high quality from the ditches to the fixing points, everything looks top notch.

MITER includes 2 pieces of protective films for the Gryphon’s glass surface, which is a nice addition.

Sony WM1ZM2 / WM1AM2 Leather Case:

The MITER Leather Case for the Sony WM1ZM2/WM1AM2 is available in six (6) different color options which are Black, Turkish Blue, Navy Blue, Bordo Red, Dark Green and Light Camel like my review unit.

The Sony WM1ZM2 / WM1AM2 case is Hand Made with the combination of two different materials. The outer surface is made of PU (Polyurethane) or Plueblo Leather depending on the color of the product.

The inner (lining) of the case is made from Suede material which offers a soft protective surface against scratches.

On the front of the MITER case has a fine/thin and neat frame that fits perfectly to the gorgeous screen of the WM1ZM2/WM1AM2.

At the backside of the Leather Case is the MITER brand logo that is engraved to the surface.

On the left side is an opening for the volume wheel and the markings/guides in the form of the buttons for an easier navigation.

The MITER leather case has a very nice surface texture.

The overall craftsmanship of the MITER leather case for the Sony WM1ZM2/WM1AM2 is top notch thanks to the high quality material and a metal frame that adds extra longevity.

Chord Mojo 2 Leather Case:

MITER released a special Leather Case for the long awaited Chord Mojo 2 that is available in Black, Turkish Blue, Dark Green and Red color, which will be made from Italy made Pueblo Leather & PU Leather (Polyurethane Leather) material.

The Turkish Blue version that I have received for review is made from PU Leather (Polyurethane Leather) material.

On the top of the case are a small label/plate made from leather/pleather material in brown color that has the MITER brand logo on the top. This label/plate has been precisely ditched to the main body of the leather/pleather case.

Here are also two openings one on the left and one on the right side that are dedicated for the buttons and the Chord branding of the device.

The case has a nice look and offers a premium craftsmanship like all products of the company.

Conclusion:

2022 was a very active year for MITER that has released many decent protective cases that we have reviewed above. All products do fulfill our expectations from products at this price level, with there premium look and feel.
